22 April 2014, Xian.<\/strong> April 22nd, the 2014 Geely International Business Conference was successfully held in Xi\u2019an Wanda Hilton Hotel. Featuring \u201cChallenge, Opportunity, Innovation\u201d, this conference brought together Geely\u2019s overseas distributors from over 30 countries. Mr. An Conghui, CEO of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group and leaders of Management Committee and industrial bases attended this conference as well.<\/p>\n

During the conference, Mr. An Conghui made an all-out review on Geely\u2019s achievements in 2013, shed light upon current advantages and marketing plans towards overseas markets, and expressed his high expectation for Geely\u2019s overseas markets while raising higher requirement for overseas markets. Dr Zhanglin, Vice President of Geely Holding Group as well General Manager of Geely International Corporation analyzed in great depth the challenges, opportunities facing Geely\u2019s overseas markets, and expressed his resolution to strive for opportunities and overcome difficulties with all distributors in innovative spirit. Peter Horbury, Vice President of Geely\u2019s Automotive Design gave a fabulous keynote speech on the future direction of Geely\u2019s automotive design. Also, Mats fagerhan, Executive Associate Dean of Geely Automobile Research Institute and CEO of CEVT elaborated on CEVT\u2019s CMA, BMA development platforms as well as organization framework in the future.<\/p>\n

To commend Geely\u2019s excellent overseas distributors in 2013 like Russia, Ukraine, and Egypt, Saudi Arabia Uruguay, Sri Lanka was also high on agenda. Of all awards, \u201cExcellent Marketing Communications in 2013\u201d went to Saudi Arabian market, \u201cExtraordinary Service in 2013\u201d Iranian market and \u201cMost Improved in 2013\u201d Uruguayan market, \u201cBest sales in 2013\u201d Russian market; \u201cBest distributor in 2013\u201d Egyptian and Ukrainian markets.<\/p>\n

Aiming to enhance exchanges among overseas distributors and draw upon advanced management expertise, this conference strengthens experience-sharing within excellent distributors. During the conference, Geely\u2019s overseas distributors such as HHA from Saudi Arabia, AIS from Ukraine, and Geely-Motors in Russia, GB Auto from Egypt, GEELIRAN from Iran shared their marketing experience in 2013 by deliberating on regional achievements so as to seek common development.<\/p>\n

Amid the Geely International Business Conference and 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Geely International Corporation welcomed the visits of Ukrainian media representatives, Kuwait officials and excellent Egyptian dealers. After their attending the launch of Geely FE-7 and visiting 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and Cixi base, Kuwait officials were stunned by Geely\u2019s tremendous progress within such a short period and confident in Geely\u2019s great future as well as bilateral cooperation. It was the first time for Egyptian dealer to visit Geely in China.
